Brian Miller (New York politician)
Brian Miller is an American politician from the state of New York. He served as a Republican member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 101st Assembly District, which includes parts of Delaware, Otsego, and Ulster counties.
Miller was first elected to the Assembly in a special election held in April 2017, following the resignation of Peter Lopez. He successfully ran for re-election in subsequent general elections.
During his time in the Assembly, Miller served on various committees, including, but not limited to, the Agriculture Committee, the Environmental Conservation Committee, and the Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development Committee. He focused on issues relevant to his rural district, such as agriculture, economic development, and infrastructure. He has also advocated for policies related to Second Amendment rights and reducing the tax burden on New Yorkers.
Before his election to the State Assembly, Miller served as the Supervisor of the Town of New Hartford in New York.
