Lake Byron (South Dakota)
Lake Byron is a freshwater lake located in Beadle County, South Dakota, United States. It is a prairie lake, relatively shallow and prone to fluctuations in water level depending on precipitation and runoff. The lake is a popular recreational area, known primarily for fishing and boating. Fish species commonly found in Lake Byron include walleye, northern pike, perch, and crappie. The lake and surrounding area also provide habitat for various waterfowl and other wildlife.
