Rosreestr
Rosreestr, officially the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) (Russian: Федеральная служба государственной регистрации, кадастра и картографии (Росреестр)), is the federal agency in Russia responsible for the state registration of rights to real estate and transactions with it, maintaining the State Real Estate Cadastre, land surveying, cartography, geodesy, and monitoring land use.
Rosreestr is a subordinate agency to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Its activities are governed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, federal laws, decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, resolutions and orders of the Government of the Russian Federation, regulations of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and its own regulations.
