Tim Steele (racing driver)

Tim Steele is a former NASCAR driver, primarily known for his success in the ARCA Racing Series. He achieved significant accomplishments in ARCA, winning the series championship twice, in 1993 and 1996.

Steele's career also included limited appearances in NASCAR's top series, the Winston Cup (now the NASCAR Cup Series). He made a handful of starts, with his best finish being a 23rd place at Talladega Superspeedway in 1997.

While his NASCAR Cup Series career was brief, Steele is remembered for his dominance in ARCA during the 1990s, where he established himself as a top competitor. He collected multiple wins and consistently ran near the front of the field in ARCA events. His racing career was cut short by injuries sustained in an accident. He is also noted for being a second-generation driver; his father, Jim Steele, was also a race car driver.
