Kuhjavere
Kuhjavere is a village in Põhja-Sakala Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. It is located approximately 10 kilometers northeast of Suure-Jaani.
The village is notable for being the supposed location of the "Oak of Kalevipoeg", a large tree associated with the Estonian national epic, Kalevipoeg. While the original oak no longer exists, a new oak was planted in its place to commemorate the legend. The site is considered a culturally significant landmark.
Kuhjavere is a relatively small settlement characterized by its rural landscape and connection to Estonian folklore. Its population is sparse, reflecting the general demographic trends of rural Estonia.
