Don Jazzy
Don Jazzy (born Michael Collins Ajereh, November 26, 1982) is a Nigerian record producer, audio engineer, record executive, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder of Mavin Records.
Ajereh's influence in the Nigerian music industry is substantial. He was co-owner of the now-defunct Mo' Hits Records, alongside D'banj, which produced several hit songs and albums. Following the disbandment of Mo' Hits in 2012, he established Mavin Records, a label that has launched the careers of numerous prominent Nigerian artists, including Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, and Rema.
As a producer, Don Jazzy is known for his distinctive sound, characterized by layered beats and catchy melodies. He has produced tracks for many top Nigerian and international artists. His contributions have earned him numerous awards and recognition within the music industry.
