Kodai Sano (baseball)

Kodai Sano is a professional baseball player. He is a Japanese outfielder currently playing for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Sano was born on March 15, 2000, in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. He was drafted by the BayStars in the 3rd round of the 2018 NPB draft. He bats left-handed and throws right-handed. Known for his hitting prowess and on-base ability, Sano quickly rose through the ranks within the BayStars organization. He debuted in the NPB in 2020 and has since become a key member of their lineup, contributing significantly to the team's offensive output. He is considered a rising star in Japanese baseball.
