Alfred Foster (judge)
Alfred Foster was a judge of the County Court in Victoria, Australia. He is best known for his role in the inquest into the death of Azaria Chamberlain in 1981. Foster presided over the initial coroner's inquest, which initially ruled that Azaria Chamberlain had been taken by a dingo. This ruling was later overturned, and a second inquest was ordered. He retired from the County Court in 1989.
