Kim Il Du
Kim Il Du (born October 16, 1954) is a South Korean pastor, theologian, and professor. He is known for his work in systematic theology, particularly his contributions to understanding the relationship between Christian theology and Korean culture. He has written extensively on the application of theological principles to contemporary social and ethical issues in Korea. He received his theological training in both Korea and the United States. He has served as a pastor and as a professor at various theological seminaries and universities in South Korea. His work often explores themes of contextualization, inculturation, and the development of an authentically Korean Christian identity. He is considered a significant figure in contemporary Korean theological thought.
