Rammsfehn
Rammsfehn is a small village in East Frisia, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is part of the municipality of Uplengen and located in the Landkreis of Leer. The village's name is of Frisian origin. Rammsfehn is primarily an agricultural community. Historically, it has been characterized by moorland and the practice of Fehnkolonien, settlements established for peat extraction. Today, while agriculture remains important, efforts have been made toward tourism and ecological preservation. The local dialect is East Frisian Low Saxon.
