IZh-94
The IZh-94 (ИЖ-94) is a series of combination guns manufactured by Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (now Baikal) in Russia. These firearms are typically over-and-under designs, featuring a rifle barrel paired with a shotgun barrel. The caliber configurations varied, commonly including 12 gauge shotgun barrels over rifle barrels in calibers such as .223 Remington, 7.62x39mm, or 7.62x54mmR. Other combinations were also produced, though less common. The IZh-94 was marketed both domestically and internationally, often under the Baikal brand, and was designed to be a versatile hunting firearm suitable for a range of game. The design emphasizes simplicity and durability, making it a practical choice for hunters seeking a multi-purpose weapon. Production has continued, with some variations and updated models appearing over time.
