Asselby
Asselby is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles (5 km) south-west of Howden and lies to the north of the River Ouse.
Historically, Asselby formed part of the Howdenshire wapentake. The village is primarily agricultural, and evidence suggests settlement in the area dates back to at least the Domesday Book.
The parish church of St. Helen's is a Grade II listed building.
Significant features of Asselby include the village hall and surrounding farmland.
