Pławęcino

Pławęcino is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Choczewo, within Wejherowo County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Choczewo, 27 km (17 mi) north-west of Wejherowo, and 62 km (39 mi) north-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The village has a population of approximately 150.

Historically, the area was part of Pomerania. Pławęcino, known in German as Plauenzin, was part of Germany until the end of World War II. Following the war, the area was transferred to Poland as part of the Potsdam Agreement. The German inhabitants were expelled, and the village was repopulated with Poles.

The surrounding area is primarily agricultural.
