Kevin Doherty (politician)

Kevin Doherty is a former politician in Saskatchewan, Canada. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the constituency of Regina Northeast from 2003 to 2018. During his time in office, he represented the Saskatchewan Party.

Doherty held several cabinet portfolios, including Minister of Advanced Education, Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport, and Minister of Finance. He was also the Government House Leader for a period.

Prior to his political career, Doherty worked in the private sector. After leaving politics, he returned to the business world. His tenure was marked by budget management responsibilities and policy development in various sectors.
