Tulugaak (singular and plural)

Tulugaak is the Inuktitut word for raven. It is used by Inuit peoples primarily in northern Canada and Greenland to refer to the common raven ( Corvus corax). The raven holds significant cultural importance in Inuit mythology and traditions, often depicted as a trickster figure, a creator, or a bringer of light. The tulugaak's intelligence, adaptability, and scavenging habits have contributed to its prominent role in Inuit folklore.
