Earlimart (band)

Earlimart is an American indie rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1999. The band's core members are Aaron Espinoza (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Ariana Murray (keyboards, vocals). Initially, drummer/multi-instrumentalist Blake Sennett (later of the band Rilo Kiley) was a key member, contributing significantly to their early sound.

Earlimart's music is characterized by its melodic structures, often incorporating elements of psychedelic pop, lo-fi recording techniques, and thoughtful, sometimes melancholic lyrics. Their sound has drawn comparisons to bands such as Elliott Smith, The Beatles, and Pavement.

Over the course of their career, Earlimart has released several studio albums, EPs, and singles. Key albums include We Drink on the Blood of Our Enemies (2003), Everyone Down Here Knows That I'm Your Ghost (2004), and Hymns and Call-Ins (2007). They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, building a dedicated following within the indie music scene.

Although often described as an "indie" band, Earlimart's music has appeared in various forms of media, including television shows and films, further expanding their reach. The band has also collaborated with other artists on various projects.
