Ken Fletcher (footballer, born 1931)
Ken Fletcher (1931-2020) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and for Sandringham and Moorabbin in the Victorian Football Association (VFA).
Fletcher, a rover, debuted for Fitzroy in 1952 and played 72 games for the club, kicking 32 goals. He was a consistent performer for the Lions throughout his time there.
After leaving Fitzroy, Fletcher joined Sandringham in the VFA. He quickly established himself as a key player for the Zebras, showcasing his skill and experience. He later moved to Moorabbin, continuing his VFA career.
Following his playing days, Fletcher remained involved in football.
He passed away in 2020.
