KVSS (FM)
KVSS (FM) is a non-commercial, listener-supported radio station located in Omaha, Nebraska. It broadcasts a classical music format and is owned and operated by the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). KVSS operates at a frequency of 102.7 MHz with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts. Its studios are located on the UNO campus, and its transmitter is located near Council Bluffs, Iowa.
KVSS began broadcasting in 1987 as a low-power station. It gradually increased its power and reach over the years.
