Pick Pocket (1989 film)
Pick Pocket is a 1989 Hong Kong action comedy film directed by Joe Cheung Tung-cho. The film stars Sammo Hung, Max Mok Siu-chung, and Wong Ching.
The plot revolves around Fei (Sammo Hung), a former police officer struggling to make ends meet. He gets entangled with two petty thieves, Smartie (Max Mok) and Beethoven (Wong Ching), and finds himself helping them evade the police while also trying to steer them away from a life of crime. The film blends comedic elements with action sequences, featuring Hung's signature martial arts style. While not as critically acclaimed as some of Hung's other works, Pick Pocket is considered a decent entry in the Hong Kong action comedy genre.
