Petropavlovskiy (crater)
Petropavlovskiy is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the east of the larger crater Seyfert, and northwest of Gadomski.
This crater is a somewhat eroded formation. A small crater lies across the northern rim, and a pair of tiny craterlets lie along the northeastern inner wall. The rim is somewhat irregular in shape, with outward bulges to the north and southwest. The inner walls are uneven slopes down to a relatively featureless interior floor.
Petropavlovskiy is named after the Russian city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
