Dywity

Dywity is a village in northern Poland, located within the administrative district of Gmina Dywity, Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It serves as the seat of the Gmina (municipality) Dywity.

The village is situated approximately 9 kilometers (6 miles) north-east of Olsztyn, the regional capital. It has a population estimated to be around 2,500.

Historically, the area has been part of various political entities, including Prussia and Germany, before becoming part of Poland after World War II. The name "Dywity" is of Prussian origin.

Dywity is primarily an agricultural area, but its proximity to Olsztyn also makes it a residential area for people working in the city. The municipality of Dywity is known for its natural beauty, including forests and lakes.
