Chris Foreman (organist)
Chris Foreman is a British organist, best known for his work with the bands Madness and The Nutty Boys.
Foreman joined Madness in 1978 and has been a consistent member ever since, providing the distinctive organ sound that is a key element of the band's music. His organ playing is notable for its use of classic Hammond organ techniques, adding a ska and bluebeat flavor to the band's distinctive "nutty" sound. Beyond his work on the band's recordings, he is a prominent figure in Madness's live performances, often playing prominent solos and engaging with the audience.
Outside of Madness, Foreman has also been a member of The Nutty Boys, a side project featuring several members of Madness. He continues to tour and record with Madness, contributing to their ongoing legacy as one of the most popular and enduring ska revival bands.
