Ballyhale
Ballyhale is a village and civil parish in County Kilkenny, Ireland. It is situated in the south of the county, approximately 15 kilometers south of Kilkenny city.
The name Ballyhale is derived from the Irish Baile Héil, meaning "town of Héil". The area is historically significant, with evidence of human settlement dating back to ancient times. The modern village developed primarily as a rural agricultural center.
