Iryna Lutsenko (politician)

Iryna Stepanivna Lutsenko (born February 11, 1966) is a Ukrainian politician and lawyer. She served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) for multiple convocations, specifically the VII, VIII, and IX convocations.

Lutsenko is associated with the Petro Poroshenko Bloc political party (later renamed European Solidarity). She has held various positions within parliamentary committees, primarily focusing on legal policy and justice. During her time in parliament, she was involved in drafting and advocating for legislative initiatives related to judicial reform, constitutional amendments, and anti-corruption measures.

Prior to entering politics, Lutsenko worked as a lawyer. Her political career has been intertwined with that of her husband, Yuriy Lutsenko, who served as Prosecutor General of Ukraine and previously held other high-ranking government positions.

Her political career ended when she did not run in the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election.
