Joseph Boyd (politician)
Joseph Boyd (1902-1995) was a Canadian politician. He served as a Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario representing the riding of Cochrane South from 1948 to 1951. Boyd was a member of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party. Prior to entering provincial politics, he served as mayor of the town of Timmins. Following his term as MPP, Boyd remained active in community affairs. His political career was marked by a focus on Northern Ontario issues.
