John Hawkins (archdeacon of Totnes)

John Hawkins (d. 1631) was an English clergyman who served as Archdeacon of Totnes. He was presented to the archdeaconry on 7 July 1602, and held the position until his death in 1631. He was also a canon of Exeter Cathedral. Further biographical details are scarce, though records confirm his tenure of the archdeaconry and canonry. His successor as Archdeacon of Totnes was Richard Brooke, appointed in 1631.
