John Gould (footballer)
John Gould (born October 29, 1953) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Carlton Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Gould was a rover and was known for his speed and agility. He played 70 games for Carlton between 1974 and 1980, kicking 22 goals. He was a member of Carlton's 1979 premiership team. He was also a member of the Carlton reserves premiership team in 1973.
Following his VFL career, Gould played for Preston in the Victorian Football Association (VFA).
