National Route 706 (Costa Rica)

National Route 706 is a secondary road in Costa Rica. It is entirely within the province of Limón.

Description

The route connects the town of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca with the inland community of Bribrí, and serves primarily as access to indigenous reserves and farming communities within the Talamanca canton. The road runs roughly parallel to the Telire River for a significant portion of its length.

As a secondary route, National Route 706 is not consistently signed with route markers. The general trajectory is from Puerto Viejo southwest into the interior. Specific landmarks and communities along the route include (but are not limited to) Home Creek, Carbón 1, and ultimately Bribrí.
