Joe Walter (American football)

Joe Walter (born October 27, 1963) is a former professional American football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons.

Walter played college football at Texas Tech University, where he was a standout offensive lineman. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 1985 NFL Draft.

Walter played his entire NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals (1985-1995). He was a key member of the Bengals' offensive line during their Super Bowl XXIII appearance in 1989 against the San Francisco 49ers. Walter was known for his size and strength, and he was a reliable and durable player throughout his career. He primarily played left tackle, protecting the quarterback's blind side. After retiring from the NFL, Walter has been involved in various business ventures.
