Henry Bishop (cricketer)
Henry Bishop was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Hampshire between 1891 and 1902. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Bishop made his debut for Hampshire against Derbyshire in June 1891 and played regularly for the county side for over a decade. Although not a star player, he was a reliable member of the Hampshire team, contributing with both bat and ball. His highest score was 79, made against Somerset in 1899. He took his best bowling figures of 6 for 68 against Derbyshire in 1898. After retiring from first-class cricket, Bishop continued to play club cricket.
