Jim Cox (baseball)

Jim Cox (born August 27, 1945) is a former minor league baseball manager and Major League Baseball coach. Cox served as a coach for the Atlanta Braves for many years, primarily as a bullpen coach. He worked under managers Bobby Cox (no relation) and others.

Cox's professional baseball career began as a player, but he transitioned into coaching and managing. His time as a coach with the Braves coincided with a highly successful period for the franchise, including multiple National League pennants and a World Series championship in 1995. He was known for his dedication and rapport with players.
