James Bell (rugby league)

James Bell is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a prop and lock for St. Helens in the Super League. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Bell has represented Scotland at international level.

Bell began his professional career with the New Zealand Warriors, playing in their youth grades before making his NRL debut. He then spent time with the Toulouse Olympique in the French Elite One Championship before joining Leigh Centurions in the Championship. He was a key part of Leigh's promotion-winning team in 2022.

In 2023, Bell joined St. Helens, one of the most successful clubs in Super League history. Known for his strong running and tackling ability, Bell has quickly established himself as a valuable member of the St. Helens squad. He is a Scotland international and has featured in several World Cup campaigns.
