Alamgir (actor)

Alamgir (born Alamgir Rahman on January 3, 1950) is a Bangladeshi actor and singer. He is predominantly known for his roles in Bangladeshi films spanning several decades, earning him critical acclaim and numerous awards, including a record-setting nine National Film Awards for Best Actor. He is also a successful playback singer. His career began in the late 1970s and continues to this day. Some of his notable films include Maa O Chhele, Amar Songi, and Dagi.
