Kenneth Lin (entrepreneur)

Kenneth Lin is an American entrepreneur and investor, best known as the founder and former CEO of Credit Karma, a personal finance company offering free credit scores, reports, and monitoring.

Lin founded Credit Karma in 2007 with Ryan Graciano and Nichole Mustard, initially self-funding the venture before raising venture capital. His vision was to provide consumers with free access to their credit information, allowing them to better understand and manage their financial health. Under his leadership, Credit Karma grew to become a significant player in the financial technology industry, reaching over 100 million members.

Lin stepped down as CEO of Credit Karma in 2020 following its acquisition by Intuit for approximately $7.1 billion. He remains an advisor to the company. Prior to founding Credit Karma, Lin worked in various roles in the financial services industry. He is also an active angel investor and advisor to other startups. He holds a degree in mathematics and economics from Boston University.
