Jim Stone (American football)

Jim Stone (born October 23, 1946) is a former American football player. He played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL).

Stone played college football at Missouri Western State University.

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round of the 1969 NFL Draft. Stone played for the Steelers from 1969 to 1971 and then for the New York Giants in 1972 and 1973.

His career statistics include 2.5 sacks recorded during the 1972 season with the New York Giants, the only season sacks were officially tracked during his time in the NFL.
