Jerry Jacobs (American football)

Jerry Jacobs (born November 6, 1997) is an American football cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL).

Jacobs played college football at Arkansas State and later at the University of Arkansas. He originally committed to Arkansas State, where he played for two seasons (2017-2018). After being dismissed from the Arkansas State team, he transferred to the University of Arkansas, where he sat out a year due to NCAA transfer rules. He played one season for the Razorbacks in 2020.

Jacobs went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft and signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent. He quickly made an impact on the team, earning playing time early in his rookie season. In his NFL career, he has demonstrated ball-hawking abilities and a willingness to contribute on special teams. He has battled back from significant injuries, showcasing his determination and resilience.
