James Reynolds (actor)
James Reynolds (born March 10, 1946) is an American actor, best known for his role as Detective Lieutenant Nathanial "Nate" Adams on the NBC police drama Days of Our Lives.
Reynolds began his acting career in the 1970s with appearances in television shows such as Sanford and Son, What's Happening!!, and Roots. He joined the cast of Days of Our Lives in 1981, and played the role of Lt. Adams intermittently for over three decades, making him one of the longest-running African-American actors in a daytime soap opera. He has received multiple Daytime Emmy nominations for his portrayal of Lt. Adams.
In addition to Days of Our Lives, Reynolds has appeared in numerous other television shows and films, including Generations, Murder, She Wrote, The District, and Get Christie Love!. He is also involved in philanthropic work, particularly with organizations that support children and families.
