Highway (2014 Hindi film)
Highway is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language road drama film written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film stars Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda.
The film revolves around Veera Tripathi (Alia Bhatt), a young woman from a wealthy Delhi family, who is abducted on the eve of her wedding. Her kidnapper, Mahabir Bhati (Randeep Hooda), is a hardened criminal. Instead of being terrified by her captivity, Veera finds herself experiencing a strange sense of freedom and discovering a different side of herself as she travels with Mahabir through the highways of northern India.
