Großer Plöner See (Amt)
The Amt Großer Plöner See is an Amt (collective municipality) in the district of Plön, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Its seat is in Plön, itself not part of the Amt. The Amt is named after the Großer Plöner See (Great Plön Lake), a large lake located within its boundaries.
Geography

The Amt Großer Plöner See was formed on January 1, 2014, through the merger of the former Ämter of Plön-Land and Trave-Land. This administrative reform aimed to streamline local government and improve efficiency.
