Sam Stone (rugby league)

Sam Stone is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a second-row forward. He currently plays for the Salford Red Devils in the Betfred Super League.

Born in Sydney, Australia, Stone is of Samoan descent. He previously played for the Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League (NRL). He is the son of former Newcastle Knights coach and player, Rick Stone.

Stone made his NRL debut for the Newcastle Knights in 2016. He signed with the Salford Red Devils ahead of the 2022 Super League season. He is known for his strong running game and tackling ability.
