Wonderland (Erasure album)

Wonderland is the second studio album by the British synth-pop duo Erasure, released in 1986. It followed their debut album, Wonderland, which was released the previous year.

Wonderland saw Erasure continue to develop their signature synth-pop sound, characterized by Vince Clarke's intricate synthesizer arrangements and Andy Bell's distinctive vocals. While the album didn't achieve the same commercial success as some of their later work, it produced the singles "Sometimes," "It Doesn't Have To Be," and "Victim of Love."

The album is considered by some fans to be a transitional album, bridging the gap between the relatively more experimental sounds of Wonderland and the more polished and commercially oriented sound that would define their breakthrough success with The Circus in 1987. The lyrical themes of Wonderland often explore themes of love, loss, and human relationships, typical of Erasure's broader discography.
