James Macaulay (Canadian physician)

James Macaulay (1846 – 1925) was a prominent Canadian physician known for his contributions to public health and medical education in Manitoba.

Macaulay was born in Kingston, Ontario, and received his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal in 1867. He moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1870, shortly after the province joined Confederation.
