Bjørn Andersen (pole vaulter)

Bjørn Andersen (born June 23, 1978) is a Norwegian former pole vaulter. He represented Norway in numerous international competitions, including the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where he did not clear the opening height in the qualification round. Andersen achieved a personal best of 5.71 meters in pole vault, a mark he set in 2000. He won multiple national championships in Norway during his career. Following his athletic career, Andersen has remained involved in athletics as a coach.
