Dave Rogers (footballer, born 1975)

Dave Rogers (born November 27, 1975) is a retired Irish professional footballer who primarily played as a defender.

Rogers began his professional career in England with Tranmere Rovers, making his debut in 1995. He spent several years with Tranmere, becoming a regular in the first team.

He later moved to Stockport County before returning to his native Ireland. In Ireland, he played for Shelbourne, St Patrick's Athletic, and Drogheda United, among other clubs. He won several league titles with Shelbourne, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the League of Ireland.

Rogers also represented the Republic of Ireland at underage levels, including the Under-21 team. He did not earn any senior international caps.

Since retiring from professional football, Rogers has remained involved in the sport, often working in coaching and football development roles. He has held positions at various levels, including youth academies and within League of Ireland clubs.
