James Barry (hurler)

James Barry is an Irish hurler who plays as a full-back for the Tipperary senior hurling team. He also plays club hurling for Upperchurch–Drombane.

Barry made his senior inter-county debut for Tipperary in 2014. He was a member of the Tipperary team that won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in 2016, starting at full-back in the final against Kilkenny. He also won an All-Ireland medal in 2019.

He has also won Munster Senior Hurling Championship medals with Tipperary. He is known for his strong defensive play and his ability to win possession in the air.
