Jack Watts (politician)

Jack Watts is a former Republican member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 27. He served from 2007 to 2019.

Watts was born in Purcell, Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

During his tenure in the Oklahoma House, Watts served on several committees, including Appropriations and Budget, Energy and Natural Resources, and Judiciary. He held the position of House Majority Leader from 2011 to 2019.

Watts was known for his conservative political views and his focus on fiscal responsibility and economic development. He sponsored and co-sponsored legislation related to education reform, tax cuts, and infrastructure improvements.

Following his departure from the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Watts joined the private sector.
