National Highway 150 (India, old numbering)
National Highway 150 (NH 150) was a National Highway in India. It has since been renumbered under a new numbering system adopted in 2010/2011. Under the old numbering scheme, NH 150 connected Jevargi in Karnataka to Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh. The highway passed through the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The total length of the highway was approximately 183 kilometers.
Prior to the renumbering, the National Highways in India were numbered based on a system that broadly assigned odd numbers to highways running north-south and even numbers to highways running east-west. This system was considered inadequate for a growing road network and was replaced with a more systematic approach.
The specific sections of road formerly designated as NH 150 are now likely incorporated into newly numbered National Highways. To determine the current National Highway numbers that encompass the former NH 150 route, it is necessary to consult the latest National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) documentation or maps.
