Mart Kalm

Mart Kalm (born April 5, 1961, Tallinn) is an Estonian architect and architectural historian. He is a professor at the Estonian Academy of Arts and has served as its Rector since 2015.

Kalm's research focuses primarily on 20th-century Estonian architecture, including the period of Soviet occupation. He has published extensively on the topic, contributing significantly to the understanding and preservation of Estonian architectural heritage.

He graduated from the Estonian State Art Institute in 1986 and defended his doctoral thesis in 1996.
