Martin Rennie (footballer)
Martin Rennie (born 19 February 1975) is a Scottish football manager and former player. As a player, he operated as a forward.
Rennie began his playing career in the Scottish Highland Football League with Keith. He then moved to the United States, playing for Charleston Battery and Carolina Dynamo. He also had a spell with Ayr United back in Scotland.
Following his playing career, Rennie transitioned into coaching. He has managed several clubs in North America, including the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer (MLS). Prior to Vancouver, he coached the Carolina RailHawks and the Cleveland City Stars, winning silverware with both. His managerial career has been noted for player development and tactical flexibility.
