Jack Foster (Australian footballer)

Jack Foster is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy and the Brisbane Bears in the Victorian Football League (VFL)/Australian Football League (AFL).

Foster, recruited from Queensland club Mayne, debuted for Fitzroy in 1986 and played 34 games for the club over three seasons. A key forward, he kicked 25 goals in his debut season.

In 1989, he transferred to the Brisbane Bears as part of the club's Queensland zone recruiting strategy. He played seven games for the Bears that year, kicking four goals. He did not play at the AFL level again.

After his AFL career, Foster returned to Queensland and continued playing football. His career statistics include 41 VFL/AFL games played and 29 goals kicked.
